Thank you

Thank you

There are no words to even start to thank the hundreds of people that came out yesterday to help support the Lindsay M Benton Foundation. My heart was full of love and my eyes full of tears. It was a very tiring day  but a very full filling day. Captn. Bill’s and their entire staff went above and beyond to help us with every request. The volunteers were amazing and the players were all so competitive. Congratulations to the teams that took home the hardware. All the sponsors for there generous contributions and donations. And a special thank you to “34 Steps” for rocking us into the last hours of the day. What a very special surprise for us we they called Jarrett up on stage to sing and dedicate a song to his sister, Lindsay. I was so proud of him and Lindsay both. To the girls from “Queens” that came down to surprise Kelli and support Lindsay’s foundation. I don’t think you will ever know how much that meant to us. It was perfect timing.

This day was labor of love that started many months ago by four parents and a brother that love and missed a very big part of our life, Lindsay. It was day of bringing awareness to organ donation and the charities we are supporting.

Kelli and I are taking a little “siesta” and when we return we, the foundation, will meet. We will sum up this year and lay the ground work for next year. This foundation and this tournament will last as long as we are here to see it through and when have gone the generations to come will carry it on.

Again thank you to all, and may God continue to bless your life.
